I've noticed that there's a lot of children and such here, and nobody seems to be attending a school. I'm willing to tutor anyone who needs it. I can teach anything, but my specialties are English, the way it's meant to be spoken; History, and cookery. Somebody needs to provide this place with some semblance of education, so I suppose I might as well...
[OOC: England's running a little short on money. Only he doesn't want to admit it. So here he is, generously offering his services as a tutor to the peoples of Eronum, at least until he's saved up enough to buy a library membership so he can go back to being alone in his flat without being bored out of his skull.]
As I'm sure everyone is happy to know, my cold's not as bad as it was before! Ha ha, take that spontaneous recessions!
[he rubs his nose, and he does look noticeably better than before, but still not completely well; perhaps it has something to do with the fact that it's still winter]
SO. Your hero has returned and welcomes all of you into the new year! And since all the technology's working, I thereby declare that it is not the year 2000 but some other year!
[and there's that chest-puffing of self-glory until he slumps, remembering something with a grumpy tinge of red on his face]
Uh. Hey, England. I got you a present, so if you want it come get it. Yeah.
Alright, hero signing off!
[and the transmission ends]
[[ooc: America got Canada a thing of maple syrup that SAID 'real maple syrup,' so hopefully it is; and Romano, you got a bag of tomatoes. Yaay food presents. Oh right, Iggy, he got you a French cookbook and an eyebrow comb as gag gifts, both settled on top of cheap tea, the real gift.]]
What... what is everyone planning for the New Year?
[He might be in his storage unit, it's a bit too dark to tell and he is taking up most of the shot. His hair is unwound and smoke drifts lazily into view as he cards long fingernails through his hair lazily. He doesn't look at the camera as he muses to himself,]
The longest night of the year is fast approaching.
[Heeere's Fuko! She appears to be sitting at a small table, holding a knife to a piece of wood. She's making a wooden star! ...Or maybe it's a starfish. Every once and awhile you can hear someone moving around in the background. Fuko doesn't know that her Logos is on, so feel free to tell her so]
[For a moment, if you listen hard enough, you might catch what sounds like one side of a conversation going on just before she directly addresses everyone]
It can't hurt to ask since it seems like we'll be here for some time while they're fixing the trains...besides, Eronum seems like a nice enough place to stay in the meantime...
E-excuse me, but does anyone know of any nice apartment complexes or other places to stay? Preferably one that can accommodate two people? Oh, and I suppose I should consider looking for job openings too...I don't know how long the money we have now will last us...
[there's a slight pause before she adds] A-also, I'm a little unfamiliar with the area, so any information you can give me will be greatly beneficial to us, if you don't mind my asking that is.
[Notice her use of the word "us" there?]
